James Court (Living Area)

Originally purchased in November 2020 as a commercial building previously used as a warehouse, the mid-19th century structure began its life as stables. Acquiring the property without prior planning permission, DBR Builders undertook an extensive planning process before receiving approval in 2022.

Due to planning stipulations, residential units were only permitted on the first and second floors. DBR Builders delegated several amenities within the development to the ground floor, including a bin area, a gym with a sauna, a games room, and a bike storage area.

James Court (Parking Area)

The site features seven fully re-tarmacked parking bays, equipped with two electric vehicle charging points. For enhanced security, a remote-controlled sliding composite gate was installed.

During the renovation, the building's elevations were insulated and k-rendered in sections, with the remaining brickwork preserved and repointed. The original roof trusses were retained, preserving the building's historical integrity. This meticulous attention to detail culminated in the creation of six one-bedroom apartments and one two-bedroom apartment, all boasting a high-end finishes.

James Court (Dining Area)

Each apartment is equipped with integrated, fully fitted kitchens, featuring designs similar to previous DBR schemes. Kitchens include light oak facias, concrete-imitated fronts, and dark walnut flooring with matching skirting. Light oak doors with matching door frames and matching architraves to add to the cohesive aesthetic.

James Court (Bathroom)

The bathrooms are fully tiled from floor to ceiling, featuring black shower heads, shower units, and ceiling downlights. All apartments are fully furnished and ready for guests, complete with black composite front doors and black-framed UPVC windows. Stairways are adorned with glass balustrades, and bedrooms feature eye-catching feature walls.
