Introducing our Chorley project: Standish Mill

1. Clear Path Forward: After completing a series of thorough surveys and reports, we're excited to announce that the groundworks are scheduled to commence on September 11th.

In the first week in Chorley, our team will be reorganizing the site to create the necessary space for upcoming works, this including relocating welfare units on-site for our telehandler and excavator operators to begin removing all the excess soil and rubble, in preparation for the next phase in the site plans.

3. Building Underground Connections: As part of the groundwork efforts, we'll also be installing crucial manholes and chambers. These underground components will be the glue to proper functioning utilities and connections throughout our site.

4. Managing the Asbestos: In our commitment to safety and environmental responsibility, the removal of asbestos from a small room within the building is also scheduled to commence. The room is currently isolated and tarped away.

5. Powering Up Progress: Just today we had the installation of a temporary power supply on-site. This will of course be giving power to practically everything that will make the project possible. On-site power for the builders to have a cup of tea in their welfare units will be crucial! 😂

We are all excited about the progress being made at Standish Mill and we're even happier to be sharing the regular updates on our social media channels. Want to see more? Click here.
