Brierley Street Renovation

Commencing in May 2019 and concluding with completion in May 2020, this historic location witnessed an impressive renovation, becoming Heaton House apartments. After successfully repurposing and selling up, this particular project marked a significant achievement in our portfolio.

The project witnessed the conversion of the former Rathbone Skills Training Centre into six modern apartments, featuring a total of 23 ensuite units. Notably, the development includes convenient amenities such as newly tarmacked parking and bike storage.

Heaton House holds special historical significance, identified as a non-designated heritage asset. Positioned in close proximity to Bury's Gigg Lane stadium, the property has long been part of the community's fabric. The building, situated merely 100 yards from the football ground, traces its roots back to the late 1870s. Originally a detached two-storey office and classroom facility, the main part of the building functioned as a house until the late 20th century.

Subsequently, it underwent various roles, serving as a photographic studio before transitioning into its most recent purpose as Rathbone training facility.

This successful conversion not only breathes new life into a historic structure but also pays homage to its rich legacy. The strategic location, being round the corner from Gigg Lane and a 10 minute walk from both Bury College and Bury town centre underscores the community-centric approach and planning taken in this refurbishment.

Bathroom & Ensuite

Beyond its historical significance, Heaton House captivates with its thoughtfully designed interiors. Grey walls, white doors, white skirting boards, and light wood laminate flooring create a neutral yet inviting backdrop, setting the stage for a seamless blend of heritage and modernity. Each apartment is furnished with new bedroom furniture, including wall décor, rugs, and more, providing a comfortable and stylish living space.

Kitchen & Dining Room

With an outstanding GDV of £1.3m, the completion and sale of Heaton House not only underscores our dedication to making great homes but also shows that the project really clicked with the careful buyers in the market.

Living Area

This accomplishment once again reinforces our dedication to creating valuable and aesthetic living spaces while harmoniously blending it with it's historical charm. More Photos
